Thor has been playing drums since grade school and his love of music has landed him in several bands. Thor also enjoys skiing and playing with his dogs whenever he can.
With a Bachelor of Science in Political Science earned in 1993, Shoja began his career in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer. There he built a strong foundation in leadership and operations. From there he transitioned to the hospitality industry, specializing
in hotel management, before moving into the courier and transportation sector in 1999.

Shoja has held various roles with Runners, Inc., including Fleet Manager, Quality Control Manager, and Consultant. In these positions he demonstrated expertise in logistics, fleet management, and business development. In November 2024, he returned to Runners
to continue growing operational excellence and growth.
A sports enthusiast, Shoja also enjoys soccer and rugby.
Scott’s life tells a typical American success story. As a teenager, he loaded trailers for a regional trucking company. Scott also excelled in local youth sports such as basketball, football, and soccer. Eventually, he moved on to a large logistical company

Scott’s love for live sports continued into his adulthood, so he now coaches youth teams in his spare time.
As the lead dispatcher, Ty brings over 26 years of experience in courier, moving, and trucking services. Ty is just as much at home on the dispatch board as he is driving a forklift moving pallets around in the warehouse. His ability to look into the center

He regularly plays football, softball, and basketball, and has been a basketball official for over 29 years.
Kelly brings decades of accounting and administrative experience to the Runners team. She helps keep the organization focused on its customers’ needs, instead of getting bogged down in day-to-day operating details.
Kelly lives in the mountains of West Virginia, raising her 5 children close to, but not in the middle of, the busy DC Metro area.

With more than 45 years in the business, Dave does it all: from keeping the computers, phones and security systems functioning to dispatching, dealing with service issues, and overseeing the fleet.
Born in Washington DC, Dave presently lives on the Shenandoah River at the foot of the Blue Ridge. He claims someone once wrote a song ’bout dat.’ As a retired professional musician, he’s still “pickin’ ‘n grinnin’” and teaching in his spare time.
Ralph has been with Runners for over 25 years, helping with the many specialty furniture deliveries, warehousing organization, and book order management. He stays on top of the coordination of the multiple furniture staging jobs Runners has on a recurring and on-demand schedule.
He is a soccer enthusiast, at times coaching in his free time.

Roy Fritts is a native of the Washington, DC area and has over 35 years of solid courier industry experience. His hands-on background includes driving as a courier, dispatching, and providing exceptional customer service you can depend on.
In his spare time, Roy raises thoroughbred horses on his farm in West Virginia.

Erin has been Runners' dockmaster for 2 years, helping to keep our warehouse operational and open for each next delivery.
Ricardo has been a part of our team now for over a year. We are happy to have him fill out our crew.
Jose has been with Runners for 4 years. He is our valued main forklift operator.
Marcus is our amazing Baltimore Logistics Specialist. He is detailed oriented and keeps the Baltimore dock clean and organized, ready for any need that may crop up. He is a graduate from American University and has been with us over 10 years.

Diane’s business savvy, creativity and determination provides Runners with a well tested roadmap for continued success and customer satisfaction. An accomplished multi-tasker and marathon finisher, Diane enjoys music, decorating, yoga, bird watching, and skiing. Her interest in antiques and good food led her to start another business venture, BuddyLou’s (Eats, Drinks, Antiques) one of western Maryland’s most celebrated attractions.
